KAVOD: The Hebrew Word for Glory  ( Study #3 )

Yesterday we saw God's glory as a covering of His Hands - to protect, to provide.

Today we shall see the opposite picture: an uncovering of His hands - to allow us into the family of the Son of God who was secured by iron nails that resulted in a doorway to death for Him but life for us.

This revelation comes from the study of the Gematria of the letters used to spell Kavod:

Kaf is the number 20 and means redemption. Beyt is the number 2 and stands for God the Son of the Living Word. Vav is number 6 and describes man’s state of enmity with God. Dalet is number 4 and refers to God’s creative works or creation. In the Glory or the Kavod of God, there will be the redemption of both fallen man and the creation cursed by man’s sin

Abba Father, by Your glorious grace, You have uncovered the way to eternal life through Yeshua nailed to the Cross. We thus see the dual aspects of Your Kavod - to protect and to uncover the way for our salvation in Yeshua. Truly by your grace so free, You bestow Your Kavod (honor and respect ) upon us!
