ETERNAL LIFE FOR THE NATURAL MAN

Now that we have a better understanding of final events and the New Earth, let us read Revelation 21:23-25.

" And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there."

Let us imagine the scenario. The sun will remain for the natural man, but it is not needed in New Jerusalem. There within the city, God's glory will be brighter.

God will allow two groups the privilege of walking in His light: the glorified saints and the peoples of these saved nations.

Both these groups can freely walk the streets of the City of God for its gates are never closed. Their kings likewise will bring the glory and honour of the nations into her borders forever.

Abba Father, it is difficult to visualise and understand these descriptions of the New Jerusalem. But they are there to inspire us lest we think that once we make it to heaven, there is nothing more to look forward to.
