IS THERE REINCARNATION?

Hebrews 9:27 is very direct: " It is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment".

Jesus told the thief crucified beside Him - the one who believed in Him - " Truly, I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise" ( Luke 23:42 ). Jesus offered him eternal life and immediate entrance into heaven - not reincarnation.

Reincarnation appeals to human pride - that a person's final destiny rests on human effort, not on the grace or judgment of God. Even sin is a learning experience, a potential step in a person's upward progress.

Abba Father, this life is not a dress rehearsal for another future life on earth after death. We only have one life to live; live it for God.
