OUR GLORIFIED BODY ( PART 5 )

Will we be able to eat the fruit of the Tree of Life?

John, in Rev.22:2, writes of his vision of the eternal state where he saw that "in the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month." 

If its leaves are meant for the healing of nations outside the New Jerusalem, then who are the fruits meant for if not the glorified saints within the city of God?

This seems to be a reversal of the Genesis 3 punishment where Adam and Eve, and hence all of mankind, were banned from eating from this tree. 

Personally, I am glad we will be able to eat in our glorified bodies, and we do not have to worry about calories.

Abba Father, the partaking of the Tree of Life is the symbol of our ultimate restoration and reconciliation with You. No longer will its fruit be forbidden to those in Christ. Indeed we will come, taste, and see that our Lord is good ( Psalm 34:8 ).
