THE END TIMES ( PART 10 )

OUR GLORIFIED LIFE IN HEAVEN

Admittedly it is difficult to visualise our glorified life in heaven.

But one thing we know - heaven is anything but boring.

The Church, made up of the glorified saints, is to rule and reign with Christ as kings and priests forever ( Revelation 5:10 ).

Some theologians imagine this to be our partnership with the Godhead - that we would rule and reign with our King of kings over the natural races of people in the New Earth.

We will represent our great God from His seat of power, the New Jerusalem, where we will live.

Our assignments will be rewards for the obedience and service we give now. For He created us to rule with authority in Him.

Some surmise that the places to which He assigns us will fulfill a deep longing in each of us - a longing uniquely designed to enable us to become the ultimate person and likeness of whom He created us to be.

In addition, we will have the honour to eternally worship Him. We will behold Him. We will praise and magnify Him. We will grow in the knowledge and the fullness of Him as we forever learn His ways.

Abba Father, Paul said it best - we will delight in all the good works You have prepared beforehand for us to do ( Ephesians 2:10 ). Our lives and purpose in Heaven will be more satisfying than any endeavor which we have ever assigned ourselves. All we do will be in, through, and by Your glorious and unhindered power! Amen.
