Will there be second class citizens in Heaven?
The answer is no.
But in terms of greatness, there will be different measures.
Our position will be determined forever by the brief years of service we have now. It is in our hands, through the power of God, to determine our due.
The status of servants who work hard now will be far greater than those who do nothing. More will be given to the workers.
Greater authority and rule is a major part of that greater reward for those who serve now.
Paul wrote before his death: "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them that love His appearing" ( 2 Timothy 4:6-8 ).
Abba Father, though some think " rank" in heaven is offensive, yet Your Word teaches us about those whose lives yield a 30, 60 or 100-fold return on the Word of God ( Mt. 13:23 ). Our Lord Himself spoke of those who are " greatest" and " least" in Your Kingdom ( Mt. 5:19 ). Everyone of us has the same privilege of participating in Your reward system. The choice is up to us. Wisdom and the brevity of life tell us to get involved NOW and serve Our Lord today and share His love and truth with all the world!
