3 REVELATIONS OF YHVH'S NAME GIVEN TO MOSES #4
1. YHVH RAPHA ( PART 4 )
In the Old Testament God gave Moses a revelation of His Name called YHVH RAPHA.
With that Name of
YHVH-Rapha, He has the power to heal physically (2 Kings 5:10), emotionally (Psalm 34:18), mentally (Daniel 4:34), and spiritually (Psalm 103:2–3).
Neither impurity of body nor impurity of the soul can withstand the purifying, healing power of YHVH-Rapha.
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ showed that He was the Great Physician who heals the sick.
In Galilee, Jesus went from town to town, “healing every disease and sickness among the people” (Matthew 4:23).
In Judea “large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there” (Matthew 19:2).
In fact, “wherever He went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged Him to let them touch even the edge of His cloak, and all who touched it were healed” (Mark 6:56).
Not only did Jesus heal people physically, but He also healed them spiritually by forgiving their sins (Luke 5:20).
Every day, in every way, Jesus proved Himself to be YHVH-Rapha in the flesh.
In the Old Testament, God let the Israelites know that He is the God who heals. What He actually said is stronger than that. It’s not so much, “I am the God who heals” as it is, “HEALING IS WHAT I AM."
God is the one who heals. He came to the earth and through Jesus, healed over seventy times throughout the Gospel.
Jesus repeatedly said, “Be made whole.” Wholeness is God’s desire for us, and He can give it to us.
Sin is the most significant affliction known to man, but God can even heal sin.
In Exodus 15, God provided healing by a tree thrown into the water.
Thousands of years later God offered spiritual healing when His Son hung on another tree. “He himself bore our sins in His body on the cross,“ (1 Peter 2:24).
Through His Son, Jesus, God has provided the final cure for spiritual, physical, and emotional sickness.
YHVH Rapha makes us well. “O Lord my God, I cried out to You for help, and You restored my health” (Psalm 30:2 NLT).
Cry out to YHVH Rapha to forgive and heal your sins. God gave us His Son, Jesus, to us, as the most wonderful gift of courageous healing love we could receive.
The encouraging words of John 3:16 tell us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.”
God gave His Son, Jesus, to the world as the only way we can have fellowship with God.
Through the relationship with Jesus Christ, we are healed and whole emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

Dear Lord Jesus, you are YHVH Rapha, the God who heals. I need Your healing in my life. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
