BENJAMIN AS AN ENDTIME SIGN #3
Benjamin's name and character traits have much to do with the symbol of a "hand".
1. Jacob changed his youngest and last son's name to
"Son of My Right Hand " ( Genesis 35:28 ) conferring upon him the role of a ministerial partner to the leaders of Israel especially - as we have seen - the kings of Judah.
2. They were also left-handed warriors who could out-wit their enemies with the sling which they could swing with either or both hands.
As ministerial partners of Judah, it is believed they taught David ( of the tribe of Judah ) how to use the sling to defeat Goliath in the Valley of Elah.
3. In the Jewish alphabet, the consonant for hand is YOD - the smallest but most potent letter to describe the "Hand of God".
The tribe of Benjamin after the Battle of Gibeah was reduced to only 600 men. But they grew in numbers to become the most warlike of the tribes.
Hence they are likened to the Endtime Army of God. Though they may be few in number, they are not insignificant as God is the strength of both their arms.
The lesson is obvious - they use all their "strength" to further our Lord's kingdom in the Endtimes, their utmost for God's highest.
This is the essence of the Benjamin Anointing - as prayer warriors and intercessors for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
